BioThis is the travelogue of Nathanael Shelley.
I am a 29 year old, mixed ethnic, American male from upstate New York and a PhD student at Columbia University in New York City studying the history of the Ancient Near East.
I have studied at several universities and can read and write in multiple languages, but I only speak a few. I consider my talent for storytelling to be my greatest skill and that’s a large part of the reason I am becoming a professor. I strive to be a complete person, live a healthy life, and to honor my teachers and myself.
I practice Capoeira, Bushido, and meditation. I believe in goodness. I believe in God. I am a very spiritual person but I don’t wear it on my sleeve. I know who I am and I know what I am doing.
